guys, i know one of the founders of BIRA personally (greg). I think he may
even lurk on the list. i have known him since b4 BIRA even started. I do
not know if BIRA is still functional or not. but i would NOT hold out for
your BIRA kit. they produce brackets when they have time and when they have
enough to people wanting a specific bracket to actually make it worth their
while setup the machines. it took about 18 months for them to have enough
orders to build the brackets for my car. roger, another option for you, IF
they are still making them would be the RPI/Willwood kit. I have the
prototype of the original kit on my V8. I know it has been greatly updated
since then. I do not know if they still make the kit though. Check out
RPI's webpage or call them to see if they still make a kit.
ron, 1600$ does not seem all that unreasonable. by the time u actually get
some G60 strut housings with shipping, i bet u will be in over 1600$.
