I'd go for the syphon pump and hose in the $4 bin at your local FLAPS
too.  Only thing is, it's almost impossible to get the hose down the
filler neck, your better off taking the fuel pump locking ring off the
top of the tank and sticking the hose in there.  If you have a lot of old
gas, and it still resembles gasoline more than wood varnish,  you can get
rid of it a gallon or two at a time by adding it to a near full tank on
lesser vehicles in your fleet.
