Thanks, I thought possibly weather to as it happen once in a blizzard about a year ago but turned out to be the 02 causing the symptoms, I'll check that as well. (that shouldn't affect RPMs, though new symptom on return was stepping on throttle and having a second or 2 or 3 delay before RPMs and car caught up) The 'cutout' downshift feeling would be very familiar to any one with an I 5 turbo that had boost cut out. The tranny was overfilled, settled that and was fine for 45 miles into retun, than down shift into 3rd rather abruptly on the hwy. Grabbed my Tim Hortons fix and was fine for 150 miles more than intermittant tranny hunting. Got all shifts through 3rd but stopped there. Each cyle of the ignition seemed to 'solve' the issue for a short time. Its a head scratcher.> To: mdeltergo at hotmail.com> CC: v8 at audifans.com> Date: Tue, 15 Jan 2008 14:44:49 -0200> Subject: Re: [V8] Limp mode sort of> From: cobram at juno.com> > I had very similar thing happen when I drove through a "puddle", things> did go back to normal after a while on their own, I chalked it up to a> wet tranny harness compounded by a humid Throttle Position Sensor.
