[V8] HID Conversions

HIDs for a V8?  I wouldn't put any faith in any of them. I think they just do a blast listing for a bunch of various applications, and if they don't fit oh well return 'em. 

S'far as I know, the only plug-n-play game in town is not only not in town, but not past the crude prototype stage -- in Paul F.'s shop. 

But please, by all means, if you are seeing differently, go for it... I'd love to hear how it turns out. Just, if you do, go for the most expensive setup you can find -- I figure it'd be the most likely to actually work...

So I do a quick search on headlamp HID conversion kits and come up  
with a massive range of prices, From $24.95 to $550.
And the kits all look the same!
I did notice that the H3 Hi/Lo beam combos are reduced to a single Lo  
beam on some kits, and some have a moving shield to give two beams on  
others, but what's the difference? Anyone happy with their HID kit
Maybe I should buy several $24.95 kits  and resell them on Ebay for  
$550!!
(Now,  that would pay for my new used Euro lights!)
