[V8] Engine Speed sensor???

Didn't smell fuel, probably because of the ether from the starting fluid I tried.   There is an attempt to fire, but it doesn't catch, so I'm assuming spark and fuel.
   
  The wire is so short on these sensors you almost have to pull them to test them comfortably or reliably.  Might as well replace if they're out.
