44 mpg from a bike huh? guess i need to get a more timid bike. i am luck
to get 30 mpg from mine. currently i am audi-less. well, i own em, but
they are getting some serious mods. so, i drive a 1999 540i that gets an
AMAZING 28 mpg on the highway. and a lowly 13 or so MPG in town. but, that
may have more to do with it's driver :)
I am a bit anal. so, i run 93 octane in the car and 100 in the bike.
93 is $4.75 a gallon
100 is $6.25.
Diesel $4.00
87 $3.55
89 $3.65
91 $3.75
this is in San Leandro/Oakland CA.
Prices fluctuate about 2 cents around town, but are about 20 cents higher a
gallon just 15 minutes away.
