[V8] Pigtail needed and hoses done.

Hey all,
I need a pigtail for the coolant temp sensor on the right head. The
last time I was in there, I noticed the plastic was all crumbly and
today when I removed it, even more broke out. I got it on and it's
working, but I'll need the plug and about 3" of harness.
I was in there today to replace all the heater hoses as well as the
heater valve (while I'm in there). Never a job I want to do again.
Distressed by the magnitude of leaves under the cowl cover and no way to
get them out. Maybe industrial vacuum sweeper on another day.
Feeding the hoses through the firewall is a chore. The lower hose won't
feed if the upper hose is in place. The upper hose won't feed if the
lower hose is in place. I imagine this job would be a lot easier if the
entire heater box unit was out of the car... or at least the blower motor.
Removed the brass valve I had in place. Nothing wrong with it
functionally, it's just a total PITA to get hoses on the offset
fittings. New, OEM plastic valve should last another 10 years (old one
lasted 16?).
Here's hoping for no new leaks,
Scott S.
