[V8] ...how long have you had your V8...

   Bought my first from my dad in probably 01?  Paid what the dealer was
going to give him in trade - good deal.  Had 116K on the clock, indigo and
grey - took it to 185K with no probs - wrecked it.  Sold parts for a total
of more than I paid for it!  Still have the engine (hopefully for a swap
someday) and I kept the auto trans.    
   Bought my second with a bad trans in Michigan about 2 years ago.  Had a
bad trans with 109K.  Paid a third of what the first cost me (actually
cost me more to tow it home then what I paid for it!).  Towed it home and
put in the trans I had.  Still driving it today and love every minute of
it.  I even love this color combo the best - Lago on grey.  If this tranny
eats it I will put a 5spd in it and keep going.
