Bastian: way back in 1987, I think it was, I was part of an American Air
National Guard radar squadron that was stationed in a big field along the
North Sea coast for a NATO exercise called Tactical Fighter Weaponry.
We were the first US Air Force radar squadron to be deployed to Denmark, and
we spent about 90 days there. I personally spent one wonderful day
exploring Aalborg. We had a terrific time in Denmark, and to this day, it
remains one of the few places that I have been in the world that I would
love to visit again.
Of course this was before the introduction of the V8, and I saw few German
cars there at all, other than Mercedes. In fact, the flyover by the Danish
Air Force in their F104's numbered more than the total Audis that I saw
while I was there.

Oh, yeah, I did do a bit of terrorizing in a rented Ford Sierra, I think it
was, including one night that I made a wrong turn and drove down a walking
street in Thiestadt, but we won't go into that right now....
