Hi Roger,

hej, I think I saw one of these radar stations on my trip to the north 
coast, it was in Skagen. A secretary at the university told me that she 
was also working for the NATO air traffic control including command of 
the tactical fighter alarm starts in case of unknown aircraft hitting 
the airspace in the 70s I guess, but this one was located in the south 
of Aalborg.

Aalborg is indeed a really nice town of medium size (approx. 150.000 
inhabitants) and also one of the most cosiest I've ever visited. Lucky 
me that I stay here for some months ;). But - as denmark in common - 
it's unholy expensive.

My origins are in Tyrol, Austria and usually I live in Vienna, so the 
flat land and the near to the sea is somewhat uncommon to me.

Let's see if anybody here is also in Denmark :)
