[V8] running short of hair to pull out

Dave took the words outta my mouth. I too wonder what the codes would read. A fuel pressure guage hookup would help confirm a gas flow condition, and help interpret any codes as well. 

To me it sounds like an ignition or air deficiency.  No other wire connections that might have been unhooked or switched upon reassembly?

Napalm is illegal for residential use, so weigh your options.

This has probably been asked, but are there any codes?
Maybe you need to get down to basics. Put on a fuel pressure tester  
and maybe even a volt meter on a coil B+ terminal.  Somewhere it is  
trying to tell you what is wrong.
