Does anyone know what the offset of the five spoke wheels from a 2002 Audi
A6 3.0 Litre would be.

I met this guy who bought new Dunlop tires for his A6 3.0 last fall, and
just afterward, changed to winter tires and wheels.  

Next, he got a check engine light, and took it to the dealer in Bangor,
Maine, who promptly told him that he needed a new cylinder head at $3900
plus labor, and sorry, no, the car was 47 days out of warranty and their
hands were tied....

He traded the car in right after that buying a Mazda 9-something SUV.  Now
he is stuck with those tires and wheels...

So, what is the offset, because if they will fit the 1990 V8 Quattro, and
clear the big brakes, I might have a new set of tires and wheels for cheap.

I can't find the offset anywhere, and am not sure (because he wasn't sure)
what the tire size on the car was.
