Thanks for the replies!
The SJM website was a great source of information gave me enough info to 
hopefully check the car properly with flash codes.
These cars must be quite rare world wide. this one is in very good condition 
but a good tidy up would make it mint. I think the owner has had enough now 
im going to have another look at it soon and see if i can get some codes out 
of it that make any sense.
I might end up purchasing the car and see what happens.
The gearbox is huge so it shouldnt have to many more problems in future. The 
Auto shop said it was in excellent condition inside.
