[V8] Packrat issues

I'm cleaning out my parts bins, labeling stuff etc. etc.
And I found the old black Derlin bushing from the T-belt job. The
old one looked almost brand new but I went ahead and replaced it because
I had already purcahsed the new one ($30!!) and "while I was in there."
I can't bring myself to throw the old one way. My mind wants to
rationalize that the part is somehow still worth something.
I have two broken vents. They work but part of the spring mechanism
that locks them into place on the dash is broken. But I can't bring
myself to throw them away. They still work great directionally, but are
a bit floppy in dash if installed.
I have old outside temp sensor brackets. Old heater valves, window
switches that work 70% of the time but have no light, the old rollers
and bearings from the t-belt job, crap like that.
I hate to throw this stuff away due to the "semi-precious" nature of
it all, but is there any point in keeping it?
Ron, the master of old parts, the guru of reuse, any light to shed
on this? Anyone else overcome this hurdle?
Thanks,
Scott S.
