[V8] I was wondering if anybody could take a look at a vehicle (Denver)

As far as I understand the Transmission failures are due to not changing 
fluids? I mean the V8 can die just as easy from what I understand.

I have read plenty about the transmission problems and a large part of 
it has to do with letting it go too long without maintenance. IIRC they 
said it was a sealed system and no need for flush and all that good 
stuff. However if it is taken care of it will last longer.
