[V8] I was wondering if anybody could take a look at a vehicle (Denver)

Normally I'd say yes, but in the case of the earlier A8s (especially  
the '97s), there is a design flaw in one of the internal components  
(according to my mechanic friend who specializes in rebuilding Audi/ 
Porsche/Lotus transmissions -- Auto and Manual).  You may indeed  
stave off failure somewhat by replacing the trans fluid more frequently.
