Dave, Thanks for your ideas. I should have noted - #1. is one of my '93s and it
is less aggressive, but only "slow" until 30 mph. # 2. Is my '92 "race" car that
seems to have power to spare and kicks down at the slightest touch to the
pedal. This '92 is definitely running rich, but now it won't start after shutting
down >after waiting 15 minutes or more< and then needs an hour to cool
before it will start again. I recently made the mistake of replacing the old
position sensor with a used one I was "sure" was good, so it could still be that
old PS problem. I know the temp sensor fits into the -no start after endlessly
turning- over computer loop problem, which I think is the cause of no fuel
input. Possibly, there is another reason for the hot-no start problem that seems
to be built into these cars.

I am going to sell my Black/Black '93 soon, because I am not using it.

We should start a '93 club registry to find out which of the 150 '93 V8 Audis
made it this far and where they are. I have two in Delaware. By the way, I think
the ultimate solution to the Flying Saucer, UFO brakes, falling headliners, etc.,
would be for the early V8 fans to move their best parts into a '92 or '93 and
enjoy Audi's best effort before development moved on to the A8.
            Thanks, Bob Williams
