Hi Ingo,

is your explanation that the ventilation system pushes oil into the 
engine air intake tract? Wouldn't that imply that the whole intake tract 
is full of oil and that those engines should have taken oil already when 
shipped?

There was a guy once on Ebay selling "oil consumption reduction sets" 
for ABH blocks - it was a modified ventilation hose or something like 
that, but people said it's pure humbug.

Have there occured any changes on the ventilation design explaining why 
later blocks take less oil and/or why PT blocks are not affected?
