[V8] Oil Consumption ABH Engine

I agree with all the other comments - but I'll add three other places to look.  1.The breather hose running from the drivers head to the valley of the block - they are known to desintegrate.  2.The 'D' rings between the distributor and head - they shrink and leak.  3.The actual valve cover gasket - it gets brittle and leaks.  I doubt what you describe is the rear seal.  Good luck.
