While dashing thru the snow on my 254 horse old sleigh,
I have this sporadic thump, thump, thump from behind the rear LHS
passenger as we go over the deeper holes..
My road is like a rutted farm track with 'pot holes' in the snow down
to the asphalt every so often.
It sounds like something is hitting the body or almost like the Left
rear suspension is bottoming out (hard to beleive)
Everything is quiet once we're on smooth surface again.
I have the car up in the air right now but can't see anything loose.
The exhaust is very firmly attached.
I have never changed the rear shocks in the 10 years I've had the
car. Could this simply be worn out shocks?
Mark.
