[V8] black interiors...now morphed a tad

Hi,
people may excuse but I'm way to lazy to read up all the discussion.
Leather interior + dash-hocus-pocus + doorpanels are often available in
a _very_ good condition for approx. 500 USD (Memory, ran 60k Miles, rare
Nautic). Connolly, sincerely (example from an auction two years ago -
watch eBay) with BOSE panels. You may probably spend a little more for
sport leather seats. Just as an example. More common colors like black
are available for less. A lot of people throw out the (in my opinion)
much more comfortable and valuable Connolly leather interiors to put in
sport seats - tastes are different.
What you can also get, and which is in my opinion even more rare and
even more comfortable, is Wollcord interior. A lot of people don't even
know it, but the V8 Wollcord interior is very rare (hard to get in a
real good shape) and has been shipped in Nautic (called Marine, afair)
and grey. The Wollcord interior includes the doorpanels and has been
semi-manually crafted in a small factory in the UK. You can get it
nearly for free 'cause people think it's less valuable than common
leather interior - let's talk again in 10 years about that opinion ;).
There has also been a half/half Wollcord/Leather interior for
after-facelift models (black leather on the outside, wollcord inside)
and only for sport seats - it looks marvellous! Only one car is known to
have this extremely rare combination.
IF I would ever head for a custom leather recovering I would head for
one of the very rare Classic Line colors. Unfortunately the Cognac
Connolly leather (only one car in the wild with that interior is known)
isn't available any more from UK-Hide, but the Magnolia still is. And
most of the other original Connolly colors are still available. On
original Connolly leather, sincerely :)
Concerning the Avants: Only a very few amount of Audi V8 avant have been
manufactured (or customized by Audi), rumours talk about five pieces.
One is the most famous Classic Line of Ferdinand Piech's wife, exhibited
in the Audi Museum Ingolstadt. An original 5spd., by the way. Another
one is driven by one of our forum members who claims it being original.
I've never had it on a lift. Anyways, most of the Avants out there are
replicas and have been built by individuals taking a 200 Avant and
putting the V8 in. Anyways great and most probably more mature than the
Audi customizations, but anyways not original. There is also at least
one Audi V8 with a U.S. Avant tail, somewhere I should have a photo.
I don't sell anything for the V8 myself including smoked lights and
stuff like that, I just know a couple of people who exploit V8s and
similar cars and can get interested people in touch. I'm pretty sure
people also ship to the U.S. when prepaid - why not?
