In order to go to Canada and any number of other places in this hemisphere
like the Caribbean, you need to have either a US Passport or a US Passport
Card. My wife and I got our passport cards because we have friends in
Canada and wish to visit them later this spring. It takes a few weeks to
get that particular piece of paper work done. Not a big deal.
I dunno about "parts" cars, and I dunno about Audi V8's. The only listing
of Audis that I found on any of the websites didn't mention the V8. I
suspect that there were so few of them that they may fall through a lot of
bureaucratic holes. I am pretty sure though that if they are running, they
won't be exempt from the regulations that are layered on in these
interesting times.
For sure the most important thing to get done is ALL the paper work well in
advance of border crossing day. Of course if these cars were brought across
the border with the wheels removed, it might make a difference. I could
find not data about that.
