[V8] A6 4.2L - pros and cons?

Biggest problem with the C5 chassis A6 4.2 is that the V-8 is kind of
shoehorned in there- not a lot of space to work on stuff, which makes labor
rates very high for maintenance- make sure you research your labor costs
carefully.

The RS6 is the worst offender in this regard, but the A6 4.2 and S6 aren't
that much better.

When they're in good shape and in good running order, they're very nice
cars- smooth, powerful, comfortable.
