I have an '02 A6 Avant 3.0L, and I'd love to trade the car for something cooler. Even with a 4.2L engine in it, I just wouldn't dig it that much. I'm not totally happy with the roundness of the car, and I have some interesting issues with mine (the car has apparently returned to its euro heritage by always defaulting back to displaying the temperatures in Celsius, no matter if I set it to Fahrenheit). The car is reliable, very handy for hauling stuff around, and in rural Texas, it's a pretty unique sight. I like it, but even if it had the big engine in it, I wouldn't love it. I wouldn't have trouble letting go of it like I would with the V8Q's.
