[V8] frozen shocks

The protective bellows have long since deteriorated.
I think that when I last replaced the shocks the old broken bellows went back on because of the usual "It's Saturday night and I need this car on Monday" imperative.

Drilling holes in the shock sounds a bit radical. I'd be scared of drilling into the pressurized part.

Maybe I could sell a special 'Shock heater' !!
