I use the Rotella in my Duramax, and when I first got the pearl car 
(which eats oil and smokes), I decided to go with it as I had 2 jugs  
in the garage....Cut the usage/smoke in half.  Last change,after it  
appeared to be eating even more/smoking more, I used 20/50(which I've  
used in most of the vehicles I've owned) and threw in a bottle of  
Lucas....No smoke at all for 1500 miles or so....so I'd vote for the  
20/50+Lucas the day before your inspection.....Sooooooo glad we don't  
have to do the inspection thing....good luck...Tom
