[V8] the V8 , chirp ... chrip

Had a similar problem and it turned out to be anti-roll bar link joint. It
had dried completely but hadn't any play in it so just a quick lubing and
it's been quiet ever since.

Chirp of squeak? Sound like the newlyweds in that room next door with those
worn-out bed springs?  I'd call that a squeak. And if that's the case, I'd
be looking at those rear tie rods. 

The bushings wear out, the grease dries up and you drive down the street
with the "Don't Come knockin' if she's a rockin' " virtual billboard. ;-)

Well last week I finished getting the little exhaust mod done on the 4.2 .
Boy does it sound nice when you step on it. A guy in an A4 was impressed :-)


 

Okay here is my recent problem ...chirping of the back end . Every time I
hit a med bump in the road the back end chirps ( definitely back end ) .
This is so annoying. My guess would be on of the rubber bushing in the "A"
arms . Is there a quick fix to this problem or should I just replace all the
rear bushings ? 

 

(it was chirping before the exhaust mod.)
