[V8] Burnt out rotors and dizzy caps

Hello everyone!

 

I'm getting problems with my distributor caps and rotor arms.. They are only lasting a few thousand miles before the centre spring loaded pin and the contact point on the arm have burnt out. I changed them at the end of last year and also put on one new ignition coil on one side, to compare the difference... there isn't any ... So I'm left with a load of burnt out bits and possibly wasted money on a new coil..

Any thoughts?
