[V8] I think I did something really studpid!!!

I just recently changed my oil and when I was driving I noticed my oil
pressure was around 2.5 bars. So I pulled over checked the oil level and it
seemed really low, so I put some oil in it (5 quarts)with the dipstick still
showing that it was low. The moment I turned on the car it just sounded
really rough and smoke was coming out of the tail pipe. I turned the car off
drained the oil, to my surprise it was there was definitely to much oil in
the motor, put 10 quarts back in and the car still runs rough and still has
smoke coming out the back. I'm not sure if I blew my head gasket or did
something else. The car maybe ran for 30 sec. when I changed the oil again
it definitely sounded better but still lost power and a lot of smoke
shooting out of the tail pipe. Any words of wisdom.
