[V8] Need A Diffrent Audi

Bilstein HDs? No. I don't like them at all. I do like the Eibach/Bilstein
Sport Combo, but those aren't available anymore iirc for the V8 at least.
Plus I have too many experiences with (literally) frozen Bilsteins in the
winter months. They (inverted strut inserts) require air be available at
the bottom of the strut cartridge, necessitating drilling a breather hole at
the bottom of the front strut housings (at least on the V8 and and 200q20v
cars). Bilsteins are actually pretty good, but are really finicky wrt
springs. They MUST be matched properly. Koni's OTOH are much more
forgiving for a more convential strut design that still allows for
adjustment. If I had to do it over again, I would likely go the Koni route
or Boge turbo gas.
