[V8] '91 VW Vanagon with an Audi 20V turbo

A good friend of mine has an 80 something Diesel Vanagon with a  
souped up Jetta motor in it....apparently it bolted right up to the  
Diesel bellhousing.  Thing came with 30" super swamper tires and had  
some crazy australian frame, and a safari rack on top..... the larger  
tires/horsepower tore up half a dozen cv joints/suspension parts, and  
3 trannys.  Finally the frame cracked somewhere up front, and nobody  
licensed would weld it.....It's been sitting now for 5 years or so in  
his yard under some old growth cedars and slowly becoming part of the  
landscape....
