Still no Pictures of my personally infamous headliner/pillar project, but
its almost complete. I'm sewing in the "pockets" for the O-Sh## handle
areas, and working on designing one for the center console thing in the
roof, and then should be done with that. All but one of the Pillars are
finished, I'm going to finish the last little one tonight I think.
Anyway, I'm getting back into the V8 as I need to make sure its all prepped
to go as it is my Sole car come winter, the Miata can't drive in snow!
And, I noticed Sachs no longer has the "Turbo-Gas" struts availiable? I
think they are replaced by the "advantage" line, but I can't figure that
out.
Anyway, One of the projects I'm working on is how to get this darn V8 to
actually handle, and on the cheap, I suppose. That is, not 2k coilovers.
I can swallow the price for Custom Bilstein montube coils on the Miata no
problem, but on the 18 year old V8, eh, that's a bit much.
So far, I've got a set of Bilstein HD's, Front control arms, and the rear
"center" (or it seems, upper) control arms, and strut mounts.
I'd love to get my hands on a rear sway setup as well, but I can't seem to
find one, I guess they are rare as all heck huh?
Anyway, this is almost a repeat question from me, but I'm just trying to get
a follow up, now that I'm pretty well committed to the Bilstein HD route,
with stock springs.
(not that anyone makes springs anyway???)
Thanks for reading!
