Guys, I've had a busy few days.  And I wasn't trying to usurp Roger's
throne!  Just bored at home with a sprung back, and time on my hands to
reflect, regurgitate, and reminisce.  (mostly I blame the cheap Gin.  At
least for the regurgitation element).

I'll try to follow up tomorrow with answerts to all the good advice I've
received on my original question, as well as "part 2" of my personal V8
reminiscences.  A few previews where the story will go:

1) "So that's the Gotti family?"
2) "You want HOW MUCH for a wheel bearing?
3) "Honestly officer, really, a deer ran into the road..."
4) "Wipers on my headlights don't make me a pansy!"
5) "The bad timing belt is costing me HOW MUCH?"
5) "Colorado, here we come!" (aka, stuffing the trunk full of guns is
cheaper than shipping them...)
6) Colorado, here we stay. ;(
7) Damn, it does actually do 145mph!
8) "Honestly officer, there's a legitimate reason there's a human skull in
the passenger seat, and for the latex gloves, too." (you do NOT want to be
in this position!)
9) "I will be so over-engineered, I will slowly blow critical systems you
will never know until they fail catastrophically" - aka "advanced V8
ownership."

So in the next day or two I'll sit down and, apparently, "Do a Woodbury" and
recount some fun incidents in the last 8/10 years of V8 ownership.  That
last missive only covered the first four years or so, thus it might get even
more long winded.  If there's bourbon around, it will get even MORE long
winded.  I don't say this often (or actually, ever), but you guys should
"Pray for abstinence"  if you want part II to be short and sweet.
