[V8] My car scared the $$%# out of me!

Well, that's the weird part. The lock mechanically looks all good,
everything is hooked up. If I get out of the car, I can lock everything
from the drivers door, but literally I put the key in and unlock it, it
opens and then it closes on its own via the vac pump. Quirky stuff.

Ed says that I can also operate the windows and sunroof from the lock I've
gotta try that out that sounds fun.

Other than that, this is a huge array of features I'd never seen before.
I'm sort of giddy about it all. The 91 actually has a little rod that locks
the gas cap door, not the key portion of the gas cap. So you can't open the
door when all the locks are rolled. I figured out the trunk too, like you
said. Pretty crazy.

I think I actually know the problem, there was one wire that was cut from
the CLP wiring and run to the battery by the PO(s) and he never had a
locking pump in there. I'd bet that is the one for something to do with the
alarm so he could start the car. Probably also has to do with the drivers
door lock.

I can unlock everything from the passenger door, but the passenger door
won't lock everything like the drivers door.

I'm still pretty psyched about the interior lighting working with the door
switches now, that's awesome. All 5 come on at night, love it.

Any idea's about how to test the Heated Locks and heated door rear view
mirrors? I think the drivers heated door lock still works cause I used it
last year, but never tried the other one, which I might need if i don't
figure this drivers door lock thing out.
