[V8] My car scared the $$%# out of me!

I believe there is a microswitch in the vacuum locking mechanism of the 
drivers door that may be broken/disconnected for the alarm.

Does the drivers side unlock the rest of the car as well? If not, it's a 
broken linkage to the locking mechanism. That's what engages the rest of the 
doors to unlock.

The gas cap just works with the key, the trunk locks and unlocks with the 
doors when the key slot of horizontal. It's locked with the key slot in the 
vertical position, and then if you turn the key to the right from vertical, 
and push in, that also will open it.
