[V8] V8 not starting

I'd be checking the plug on the TPS, ISV, and MAF. The TPS and ISV are close together. The ISV is the round thing right at the front of the engine, sort of next to and slightly below the level of the flat piece. Right behind the radiator fans. The TPS is just below that, and it has about a six prong plug. The MAF is under the air cleaner cover. It looks like about a 4" square box, maybe 3/4" thick. It is sort of centered on top of the engine.
After checking these, I'd also recommend pulling and cleaning the ISV. Three 10mm head nuts hold it on there. I clean them with brake parts cleaner, then spray some WD40 or something similar in there. Just a touch of trans fluid or oil will also work in a pinch. I don't think this is the actual problem, but it could be. If it's sticking closed, it certainly will cause the engine to stall when the throttle is closed. Come to think of it, if it's unplugged it will rest in a neutral position, and the car will still idle. It just won't adjust the idle to differing load conditions.
Also, won't hurt to pull codes on the car. That may give you a better idea as well.
Does the car rev up and run as normal once it's started, other than no idle?
