[V8] last legs?

Hey, thought it was the parts car, which is supposed to be on it's  
last legs.  Tony wrote that thing about the belt, and I had every  
intention of going out , and measuring to put one in the trunk as a  
spare when my compressor dies.  I'll agree that the diagram doesn't  
look promising, but if this gets figured out, everyone should have  
that short belt in the trunk, as ALL of these compressors will sieze  
someday.  Maybe that Idler need to get removed?....Anyway, I'd be  
ordering brake parts and let's see that beautiful silver car on the  
road....Tom
