[V8] subframe bushings

I've never done any of mine. My Avant had them all done by the previous
owner, but it already had I think another nearly 100k on it when I bought
it. My 93 V8 has a problem with following grooves etc, but I've found that
the bushing is shot on the inner end of the drivers side tie rod, allowing
very obvious movement. My 91 5spd follows grooves very badly as well, but I
haven't looked into it... was going to just do the whole front end someday,
now will probably wait and do it as a step in the engine swap process, if I
ever get to that.

Subject: [V8] subframe bushings
I am wondering how many of your folks who have high mileage V8's or better
still, high mileage 200 Avant experience have had to replace subframe
bushings?
I know a guy who thinks he might need them, but also has classic
shock/strut/strut bearing noise, which I think is his entire issue.
Comments?
TIA,
Roger
