[V8] Hello (again), and maybe some advice?

Ok, so it can go bad just sitting? That would make sense - no warning (hot
no start) that I've always heard about, but it did not occur to me it could
just fail sitting there. Seals, etc., sure, I could see that.
So should I replace the speed sensor as well as the reference/crankshaft
sensor (is that what the two things are called)?
Good place to buy them? I see an rpm sensor for a 5000 on Ebay, but not a
"speed sensor."
Yep, I know not to let them sit, this one was just kinda beyond my control
as I didn't have space for it at my residence so it did not get driven as
regularly as I'd like. I have a long and masochistic history with German
cars going all the way back to a pair of BMW 2002's...
And besides this project tomorrow, I have get tires for the Land Cruiser
(her driver) AND much out some horse stalls. Oh boy.
Any tips on how to change these things - accessed from underneath I guess?
I can't fit to crawl under there and it won't start to drive up ramps. I
guess jack it up and put it on stands?
Thanks,
Bryan
