[V8] CC head lights out

Guys,

A few electrical issues have recently appeared. First it was a electrical drain which I believe is in the instrument panel circuit. 

Then the CC head lights died but only when the headlights are on.  Is there a back light in there?  Lights up fine with the headlights off.  

Now a erratic clicking in the dash/ instrument  panel. Sounds like a relay popping on and off. Anybody have a idea whats in there that might cause this?

Almost ten years of ownership and this car has been a jewel. I've done almost everything but take the dash pad off. I knew the day would come.
