I'd like to say "I fixed it", but it fixed itself. While trying
to get my rear window back up, I had turned the ignition key to
"run" to check which terminals had power at the window switch.
And on a whim, I turned to key to start. VrooOOOM! I will say
my V8 starts much quicker than *any* of the other Audis I've
owned, turbo or not. Even the A4 takes a bit longer to catch.

So, my starer failure is intermittent. My guess is a flaky wire
or corroded connection. But I'll leave that for another (nicer)
day. I first need to pull the door panel off to see what's what
with my window.

Thanks for all the input.
