[V8] A6 hydraulic fluid

Pretty amazing isn't it? I have cars arranged at the house so that the GF
parks in the street in front so there's no turning required. I watch in the
morning when she leaves and there's always at least an 1/8th of a turn of
the steering wheel before the wheels are rolling. I cringe a little bit
each time.

I got her a V8 for winter use when she moved here from Phoenix with her
Firebird. I wasn't specifically looking for a V8, but it was cheap and in
decent condition, though not cosmetically, which has been a relief actually
so there is virtually no worry about damage. It's been a great car, is
collecting miles faster than any other in the household with little fuss.
In addition to the dialy around town miles it has accumulated road miles
with trips out to the west coast and weekend trips around CO and down to
Santa Fe. It was the car we chose to take to our friend's cabin last fall
which is about 10 miles off of Highway 50 back in some 8 or so miles of
fairly well maintained dirt roads which were mud and snow then. It
navigated that muck beautifully and I washed small mounds of mountain
sediment out of the wheel wells and rear bumper cover into my front yard the
following week. Her V8 is Cayenne, which is a gorgeous color, even though
her's is not the best example of it. Wouldn't you know there's a 91 for
sale, right here in town, that is Cayenne and a one owner car. Being a 91,
it has Servotronic and the updated lock system which my GF has expressed a
preference for now that she's becoming more aware of things V8. I'm sure
I'll go see the 91, but with these cars, as with many things in life, it's
the devil you know...

AMEN, Bro. EVERY time someone else would drive my V8Q, strange things would
almost always happen, and of course they didn't do "anything" except drive
it. Over the last 4-5 years, no one except myself has driven V8Q #1.
Incredibly, it has not needed tires, alignments, bushings, mounts, has not
developed strange noises, hasn't sprung any new leaks, isn't acting
"strange" etc. etc. etc. I've found it's cheaper to keep a POS Cheby in the
driveway for relatives and offspring to abuse when needed, than to let
anyone else even breath near the V8Q. I don't even park it at home, I keep
it in an off-site garage of some rental property so there isn't even a
chance anyone will even ask about it.

BCNU,
Yahoo nuked my website with no warning.
