[V8] Trip computer problem

Hi, i found myself with a weird problem, after i did some testing with 
the V8.
I've had some fuel consumption issues, so i was testing the O2 signal 
from the ecu end. Now i don't know if this did something, but when i 
got the upholstery back on and got driving, the trip computer had 
stopped. Fuel consumption would stay on the same number all the time, 
when it should change during driving conditions. So, when i reset 
everything on the trip computer it would show 0.0 all the time. Also 
the average speed would show 1 all the time..
Anybody have an idea of what it could be? I know the ecu socket is 
well in there, since i suspected that and ensured it's there and 
everything looked ok. Also, thinking back, i did hit the upholstery 
down there a couple of times to get it in, so could it be possible i 
knocked something loose? I didn't see anything loose but..
