Do u know the specs on the Oettinger crank?
And what did they do to the intake's.....just port match the heads?

 And no injector upgrade huh?

And how hard would it be to source a 4.2 manual ECU and wiring harness?

Hi,

ABT modifications on both the PT and ABH (PT got 300HP and ABH got 320HP):

- Modified cylinder heads
- Modified sport camshafts
- Modified ECU (Motronic)
- Modified tranmission control ECU (modified gear shift characteristics)
- Modified air intakes

Outcome (PT):

Engine power output +50PS
Maximum power output at 6000rpm
Maximum speed of 250km/h
Engine torque +40Nm (380Nm)
Maximum torque at 4300rpm
Accelaration 0-100km/h in 8 seconds
Took 14 work days and costed 16,900 DM (around, I guess, 10k USD)

Outcome (ABH):

Engine power output +40PS
Maximum power output at 6000rpm
Maximum speed of 258km/h
Engine torque +35Nm (435Nm)
Accelaration 0-100km/h in 6,5 seconds (manually shifted) and 7,5 seconds
(automatic gearbox)
Same costs and same work time

... as you can see, it's neither Voodoo nor very impressive. I guess
that a PT V8 having the legendary and extremely rare Oettinger
crankshaft increasing the capacity to 4.0 litres is more interesting
than that...

I'll upload the stuff soon - it's even partially in English.

Bastian
