[V8] Maybe the Audi gurus can help

There is not much to the front end of those cars...
You can also have bad strut bearings,
bad stabilizer bar bearings (the stabilizer bar acts as a control arm as well).
Control arm bushings
The pinch bolt that holds the ball joint into the steering knuckle could be loose.
