[V8] Best Price for a Reference/Speed Sensor?

I know what you mean. I have found that a hot/no start (sensors?) can be overruled 
by squirting ether into the filter box. I explain it as making the injectors work w/o 
the computer. Once started, eliminating the reference sensor, it runs thru the 
computer. Has anyone developed a must have  for ignition. The ref/speed sensors, 
the two temp sensors and what else? The air mass wand?  Thanks,  Bob
