Don't THINK about using a torx, let alone trying it.
What you need is called a triple square, IIRC the CV bolts are 10mm
Triple Square.
You can get them in the tool section of your local flaps in a pinch,
Most, if not all flaps will carry the Lisle brand set:

they work just fine with a socket on the end.
