ok well i pulled the strut mount apart and there was nothing i could see wrong with it. i have some pictures here if anyone would put a set of eyes on the situation i'd really appreciate it. im getting fed up with this and need to sort it out before i park it and start driving the rx7 again. what else would cause the FL wheel to lean in when i turn to the right and lean out when i turn to the left while parked?

Hey Kyle, I just went out and checked, and the 5-speed(new struts/
mounts/etc. before I got it ) has no real movement whatsoever in
either center bolt(strut bolt). Pretty much thinking it's not
supposed to move at all. Decided (while I had the neighbor handy)
to check the Lago car(which I've replaced most of the under car stuff
after the ex hit something, and still have a clunk(original strut
mounts).....anyway, the left one moved noticeably(side that hit the
curb/side with the bad control arm), and you may have hit the nail on
the head!. After doing all the underside stuff except for the rack
(sprung a leak after she drove it)and subframe bushings, I still had
a problem. I just bought Nick's "box of suspension" from him, and
just looked at those plastic 2 part "bearings" for the front
struts....and can easily see how one could go bad. I was planning on
utilizing the "box" for all the parts I didn't replace on the
Lago,Strut mounts/auto tranny mounts ), and doing the control arms/
bearings//subframe/rear stuff on the 5-speed. The massive pile of
Audi bolts/nuts will make this enjoyable.......Thank you Nick....
Anyway, back to your problem Kyle, if the rest is old, then I'd go
and replace all of it. If you are going as deep as the mounts, you
should do it all while in there(if it needs it). You'd be amazed at
how much tighter the front end will be. I just ordered all the stuff
for my "new"truck(whole front end loose @ 75K), and if you don't do
it all, the tightness of the new, will kill the old, in short
order....painful but
necessary.....but I'll side with Ron(who's got
way more hands on experience with this), and say you could have a bad
mount bushing/bearing.....keep us posted....Tom
