[V8] Mixture problem

It is possible that the O2 sensor is telling you the truth, and the  
mixture is indeed off.
That means triple check the other inputs to the ECU that can affect  
mixture:
MAF
intake air temp
water temp

I believe you already checked fuel pressure - right?
and is there a possibility of a bad fuel injector - perhaps stuck on,  
or leaking a little? that should show up on a plug inspection.
Also, is there an ignition problem? A cylinder not firing properly  
will mess up the mixture correction.
