... a Mac is just a computer.  It is the software that makes it a mac - so when the machine is running windows, it is a windows machine. Actually, they perform very well with the usual benchmark tests while running windows.

On the lender thing - I guess it comes down to who do you trust.  I was dealing with what I thought was a professional - who flat out lied to me.
Another person may have taken the bait.
Are you saying that people who CAN be taken advantage of, SHOULD be taken advantage of?

Is that situation any different than a crooked mechanic telling a gullible customer she needs a whole new set of  muffler bearings installed ASAP or she may just lose all of her headlight fluid? Would the trusting but gullible customer be getting what she deserves?
